It has been quite a while since we updated our "moving blog"! Here's a little of what has been going on with our PCS...
Government passports are done!!!! Billy's tourist passport is also back. The rest of us haven't been able to apply for a tourist passport since our birth certificates have been a little busy off in PSD-land... Also, this morning we applied for our visas. (And left without getting our military IDs back, that was not fun. The guy forgot to give them back and we didn't realize it.)
As far as medical concerns go, Emily's pulmonary appointment went well and the doctor wrote a note stating that overseas travel should not be a problem. However, there is still one more test to go to "rule out asthma." (No one is paying attention when we say we have mold!)
So right now, we are currently awaiting approval and sponsorship from Italy, and also waiting for our visas to be issued. Meanwhile, we're slowly transferring things we don't want to take with us down to NC. And.....waiting for results to come back from our mold inspection. We are sort of wary about packing too many things up for storage since we aren't sure if our things are contaminated or not.
